Board certifications

A board is a voluntary examination that a surgeon may take. It is recognized worldwide as a mark of professional quality.

It may allow revalidation and access to advanced training programs in many countries.

There will be no certification or recertification this year for the ALACIBU Board in Facial Aesthetic Surgery.

  Document submission
• August 20, 2026
  Syllabus publication
• August 30 – September 5, 2026
  Document review and results
• October 22, 2026
  Written and oral exams (El Salvador)
• Closing ceremony
  Announcement of results

• Option 1
  Direct certification based on CV, experience, and credentials
• Option 2
  Document approval + written and oral exam

2. Upload documents at app.blacibu.net
3. Notify by email after upload
4. Payment is required for processing

Brazil: Submit Lattes CV and diploma.

Mexico: Submit specialist degree, exam approval, and CV.
